Typhoid Oral

The oral typhoid vaccine helps protect against typhoid fever, a bacterial infection spread through contaminated food and water. The course consists of three capsules taken on alternate days and should be completed at least one week before travel.

Side effects: Mild effects may include stomach discomfort, nausea, headache, or fever.

Additional precautions: Wash hands regularly, drink bottled or boiled water, and avoid unsafe or undercooked food when abroad.

Risks caused by hepatitis B: Without treatment, typhoid can cause severe complications in the intestines and may be life-threatening.
